HeartWay Church is a community of imperfect people following the way of Jesus. Our lives have been radically changed by the love of Christ and we exist to share this love with all people in all places. At HeartWay, we don’t simply want people to come to church, we want people to be the church everywhere they go.
Taking care of the needy and helping people grow closer to God.
TEACHING THE GOSPEL:
At the heart of the Christian faith is the Good News that through the Risen Christ God is restoring all things to Himself. For centuries, the church has always engaged with the Scriptures for the purpose of knowing and experiencing this Good News in a transformative way. We believe all of Scripture points us to Jesus, and that Scripture is only read accurately when it is read in a way that leads us to a Jesus-shaped life and a Jesus-shaped understanding of God’s heart. Our goal is to teach the Scriptures in a way that points people to the Good News of Jesus so that they can grow in their love for God and in their love for others, so that our world would be a better place.
HeartWay Church is committed to building real, authentic relationships. Everybody who walks through our doors is considered to be family. Our hope is that HeartWay can be a place where people connect deeply with other like-minded individuals and form healthy friendships that will last a lifetime. Our priority is to create the kind of environment where this can happen. All of us need encouragement, advice, love, and intimate friendship, and there is no better place to find that than here.
LOVING OUR COMMUNITY:
One of the most important beliefs that Christians hold to is that God is love. Jesus – who is the visible image of the invisible God – exemplified this love by laying his life down for us on the cross. He also taught us that there are two commandments that stand out above the rest: love God and love people. This is why we are committed to loving our community, because following the path of Jesus means following the path of love. As a church, we challenge ourselves to live out this commitment in the places where we live, work, and play. We are always looking for opportunities to be a blessing to other people. We want to be an answer to Jesus prayer: “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Loving our community isn’t just a part of what we do, it’s the heart of everything we do. We exist for this purpose.
